Picnic was an immediate success when it originally launched in the 1960s. Contempt prevailed for the bourgeois demand for large tableware sets; people preferred to drink straight from the bottle or from simple drinking glasses.

Product Information
Picnic by Kosta Boda is a series from 1967 that has made a celebrated comeback. The mouth-blown, signature carafe of the series has a narrow spout and a cork. This wonderful complement to series of glasses works equally well for serving a green juice on a Saturday and a bubbly rosé on a Tuesday. Design by Bertil Vallien.
