Product Information

In the book 'Guide to God', Ulrica said: "Just to be safe, I have my own house god. She sits on the gatepost of our house and watches. I have a curiosity about death, maybe then a God will appear? I don't miss God , but I would probably be happy if I discovered he existed.”

This year's House God is inspired by Petito the nymph parakeet, which is a recurring source of inspiration in Ulrica's objects. The bird lived with the Hydman Vallien family and flew freely between their shoulders. One day Petito disappeared when a sudden thunderclap scared him away. He never came back House God is a nice collector's item that has been produced every year since 2019, characterized by Ulrica's various sources of inspiration.

House God is punch pressed, the glass is then pressed into a shape and the beak is shaped and attached afterwards. The decoration is hand-painted by glass painter Charlotta Kjellander. House God, 2021, is produced in a signed edition of 300.
