Universe by Lena – Lena Bergström is back at Kosta Boda Art Gallery with a new exhibition

For more than a quarter of a century, designer Lena Bergström has celebrated triumphs around the world with her glass works for Orrefors and Kosta Boda.

Now, she invites you on an enchanting journey through her own universe in the spirit of glass.

A shimmering cosmos takes shape in the encounter between soft and sharp contrasts, featuring new works and well-known favorites — each piece carrying its own story of light, energy, and beauty.

At the center stands the Supernova series – an evolution of Lena’s renowned Planets. The series is an ongoing exploration that Lena continuously renews, reinterprets, and deepens in collaboration with the skilled glassmakers at Kosta Glassworks.

Raised in Umeå, Lena Bergström lets her northern Swedish roots and her love of natural materials such as glass, birch, linen, and wool shape her design language. Her art is characterized by elegance, precision, and a deep sensitivity to the soul of the material.
