Happiness (Badkvinna) was inspired by one of Kjell Engman’s trips to the US, where he was captivated by a women’s gospel choir performance at a church, filled with singing and dancing. He has eternalized the memory in various ways with these glass women. The object from Kosta Boda Artist Collection is pressed in a mold at Kosta Glassworks, and then hand-painted. Happiness (Badkvinna) stands on a wooden block.
